Purchase a property, selling a property, obtaining a mortgage, buying a car or boat, re-register or insure a car or boat, to insure property, starting up a business or working in Spain, setting up utility connections for electricity, gas or telephone, to make asset purchases over €3000, to inherit Spanish assets, to apply for a Spanish driving, licence, to deal with Spanish tax authorities, to register Spanish property with the land registry, in fact there are many other occasions when it may be requested.
